Osimhen and Lookman Ruled Out of Poland, Portugal Friendlies

Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle has confirmed that star forwards Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman will miss the Super Eagles’ upcoming international friendlies against Poland and Portugal.

The announcement comes after Nigeria celebrated their second consecutive Unity Cup triumph, defeating Jamaica in London to retain the Afro-Caribbean Football Tournament crown.

Despite the absence of two of their most influential attackers, Chelle expressed confidence in the depth of his squad as they prepare for high-profile fixtures in Europe.

The Super Eagles will first face Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on June 3, before traveling to meet Portugal later in the week.
