Osimhen’s agent to meet PSG sporting director during international break
Victor Osimhen may be playing his final season in Italy if reports in French media outlet, Foot Mercato that the player’s agent and Paris Saint-Germain sporting consultant Luís Campos has scheduled a meeting during the international break.
The French Ligue 1 side are one of the many top clubs in Europe’s big leagues interested in the 24 year old Nigerian who is away on international duty with Nigeria.
Osimhen, who has scored 25 goals and registered five assists across all competitions for the Serie A side is tied to Napoli till 2025 and will command a huge transfer fee because of that and his age.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly demanding a €150m fee for a player that was since from Lille OSC in 2020 for €80m. This may prove to be big for the French billioniares who are under UEFA financial fair play scrutiny.
The Ligue 1 leader is aware of this and Campos will try to find a way out when he meets the Nigerian’s agent during the international break.
Osimhen may also not be interested in returning to France as the Nigerian has confessed to dreaming about playing in the Premier League.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with the Nigerian.
