Shakira and Burna Boy’s ‘Dai Dai’ Tops Global Chart Again

World Cup Anthem Makes History on Billboard

Shakira and Burna Boy’s official FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem ‘Dai Dai’ has secured a second consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, cementing its place as one of the tournament’s defining hits.

A week earlier, the track made history as the first official World Cup song to top the ranking since the chart’s inception in 2020.

According to Luminate, ‘Dai Dai’ drew 34.4 million streams and sold 4,000 units outside the United States between June 26 and July 2, marking a 9% increase in both metrics.

The duo performed the anthem before more than 80,000 fans at the opening ceremony on June 11 at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca, setting the tone for a tournament that runs through July 19.

The final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will feature the first-ever World Cup halftime show, with Shakira, BTS, and Madonna scheduled to perform.
