Shooting Stars Management Meets Fans As Oluyole Warriors Seek NPFL Revival

Shooting Stars management has met with fans and supporters to strengthen unity and rally backing for the club as the Oluyole Warriors seek to revive their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.

The stakeholders’ meeting was attended by Executive Chairman Taiwo Lekan-Salami, Sporting Director Tobi Adepoju, Chief Operating Officer Bunmi Fadayomi, Technical Adviser Salisu Yusuf, Oyo FA Chairman Oba James Odeniran, Oyo State Football Referees Council Chairman Prof. Ladipo, former club player Felix Owolabi and chairmen of supporters’ groups.

Speaking at the meeting, Lekan-Salami described the engagement as important and stressed the role of supporters in the club’s fortunes, referring to them as the team’s “12th man.”

He urged fans to remain loyal and continue backing the team, emphasising that their commitment and encouragement were vital to Shooting Stars’ success.

The meeting also highlighted the need for unity, cooperation and collective responsibility as the club works towards its objectives for the season.

Shooting Stars face a challenging task in turning their campaign around after collecting eight points from their opening eight matches. They have recorded two wins, two draws and four defeats, leaving them 17th in the 20-team NPFL table.

The Ibadan-based side have scored seven goals and conceded 11, with their recent form showing two draws and three defeats in their last five league matches.

With the season still in its early stages, the club will hope the renewed engagement with supporters helps build a stronger atmosphere around the team as they seek improved results and a climb up the standings.
