Breaking: 15 Players Now In Super Eagles Uyo Camp

Following the arrival of Alhassan Yusuf and Chidozie Awaziem, there are now 15 players in Super Eagles’ Uyo, Akwa Ibom state camp.

SportsNow had earlier reported that 13 players trained at the Goodwill Akpabio stadium, Uyo for Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against South Africa and Benin Republic later this month.

The players in camp are Ndidi Wilfred, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chukwueze Samuel, Fisayo Bashiru, Terem Moffi, Ismaila Sodiq, Kenneth Igboke, Ojo Olorunleke, Stanley Nwabili, Benjamin Tanimu, Ibrahim Olawoyin, Boniface Victor and Raphael Onyedika.

According to Promise Efoghe, the team’s new media officer, more players are expected Monday on or before the team’s second training session in the evening.

The Super Eagles are third on the log with two points from their first two games and will need to win their next two games to have their destiny in their own hands as far as picking their group’s lone ticket goes.
