Fichajes: Real Madrid want Lookman as Vinicius Junior’s replacement
Spanish sports news outlet, Fichajes is reporting that Real Madrid will receive a ‘monumental’ £252m Vinicius Jr offer with Nigerian wing dazzler, Ademola Lookman touted as the Brazilian’s successor at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The website reports that Saudi Arabia Pro League side, Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing the huge bid for Vinicius Junior, and the La Liga giants are keen on the Nigerian as his replacement.
Fichajes says Real Madrid ‘feel the standout Serie A performer could be an ideal complement to the forward line.’
‘Lookman is valued by Serie A side, Atalanta at €60million which means the Los Blancos could have an extra £202million left over from their sale of Vinicius, which is ideal amid their push for other star players,’ Fichajes reported.
The former Everton, Fulham and Leicester City froward is also on the radar of West Ham for a potential return to England and was linked with a move to Ligue 1 giants, PSG last summer.
Meanwhile, Lookman has been voted the overall best player in the match day 11 games in the Serie A by Italian sports newspapers with a rating of 8 out of 10.
Lookman scored a brace to help his side defeat Serie A leaders, Napoli 3-0 away at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples.
