Osimhen, Asensio Among Chasing Pack in Tight Scoring Race
The race for the Golden Boot in the 2025/26 Trendyol Süper Lig is heating up, with Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu leading the charts on 16 goals for Trabzonspor.
He is closely followed by Eldor Shomurodov of İstanbul Başakşehir, who has 15 goals and could draw level if he finds the net when his side host Beşiktaş at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium on Sunday.
Behind them, Mauro Icardi of Galatasaray and Anderson Talisca of Fenerbahçe are both on 13 goals, keeping the pressure on the leaders.
Trabzonspor’s Ernest Muçi and Fenerbahçe’s Marco Asensio sit further back with 10 apiece, while Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), Felipe Augusto (Trabzonspor), and Mohamed Bayo (Gaziantep FK) are all tied on nine. Umut Nayir rounds out the top ten with eight goals for Trabzonspor.
With several of the league’s biggest stars in striking distance, the battle for top scorer promises to remain one of the most compelling storylines of the season.
