Nigerian Striker To Continue Treatment Under Club Medical Team’s Supervision
Galatasaray have confirmed that Victor Osimhen has undergone successful surgery following an injury that ruled him out of Saturday’s match against Amedspor.
The Turkish champions announced that the Nigerian striker underwent the operation on Saturday at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, with club doctor Yener İnce performing the procedure.
In a statement, Galatasaray said Osimhen’s condition would be monitored through daily assessments, while his recovery and further treatment would remain under the supervision of the club’s medical team.
“Our football player Victor Osimhen underwent a successful operation performed by our club doctor Yener İnce at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital today.
“Our player’s condition will be monitored with daily evaluations and his treatment will continue under the supervision of our club medical team.
“We wish our football player Victor Osimhen a speedy recovery and hope he recovers as soon as possible,” the club stated.
Galatasaray had earlier confirmed that Osimhen would miss the Amedspor encounter because of the injury and would require surgery.
