Galatasaray Reveals Osimhen Turned Down €150m Saudi Deal to Stay in Turkey

Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy President Abdullah Kavukcu has revealed that Victor Osimhen turned down a staggering €150 million contract from Saudi Arabia to remain with the Turkish giants.

Speaking after the derby win over Beşiktaş, Kavukcu confirmed that Al-Hilal had offered the Nigerian striker €50 million per year on a three-year deal, but Osimhen rejected the move.

‘Osimhen rejected Al-Hilal’s offer of €50m per year. He rejected a contract of 150 million euros for a total of three years. Would such a man not play because he can’t get his money?’Kavukcu said.

He added that the bond between Osimhen and Galatasaray supporters was decisive in his choice to stay.

‘If Galatasaray fans were not like this, if there was not so much love and support, Osimhen would not be here today.

The support given by our fans to our players is not easily seen anywhere in the world. It is a fact that Osimhen will take his place in Galatasaray history.’

The revelation underscores both Osimhen’s commitment to Galatasaray and the club’s reliance on his star power as they chase their 26th league title.
