Getafe Open Door for Christantus Uche Return After Palace Struggles

Getafe president Ángel Torres has offered Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche a way out of his struggles at Crystal Palace, insisting the player still has a future at the Spanish club.
Uche joined Palace on a season-long loan last summer, but after 14 league appearances, all as a substitute, the Premier League side is unlikely to make the deal permanent.
Despite his limited impact in England, Uche remains highly rated in Spain following an impressive campaign with Getafe last season.
Torres revealed that several clubs outside the Premier League are interested in the 22-year-old, but emphasized that Getafe would welcome him back.
‘He has offers from other countries outside the Premier League, and he’ll decide,’ Torres said. ‘That, or he can come back; he has three years left on his contract. We’d be delighted if he returned if he can’t be sold.’
