Arokodare Market Value Soars To €22m After Ajax Move
Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has seen his market value rise to €22 million following Transfermarkt’s latest update for the Dutch Eredivisie.
The 25-year-old has gained €2m from his previous valuation of €20m in June, signalling a turnaround after two consecutive drops in his market value.
Arokodare reached a career-high valuation of €25m in October 2025 but dropped to €22m in December before falling further to €20m in June 2026.
His latest increase comes after joining Dutch giants Ajax on loan this season from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The rise has also strengthened Arokodare’s standing among the Eredivisie’s most valuable players.
He is currently Ajax’s most valuable player, ranks sixth among all players in the Eredivisie and is the fifth most valuable Nigerian player.
Globally, Arokodare is ranked 513th in Transfermarkt’s market-value standings.
The latest valuation suggests the forward is beginning to regain the market value he lost over the previous two updates, although he remains €3m below his career-high figure of €25m.
