Arsenal Suffer Saka Injury Blow Against Bayern Munich

Arsenal suffered an early injury setback in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich after England international Bukayo Saka was forced off just 10 minutes into the encounter at the Allianz Arena.
The 25-year-old winger appeared to suffer a left thigh injury while playing a pass from the right flank and immediately went to ground in visible discomfort.
Saka was seen clutching his left thigh as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta quickly signalled to his substitutes’ bench for a replacement.
The England international was unable to continue and was replaced by Eberechi Eze, before heading straight down the tunnel for further assessment by Arsenal’s medical staff.
The injury occurred with the score still goalless, dealing an early blow to the Gunners as they attempted to maintain their perfect start to the Champions League league phase.
Saka has been one of Arsenal’s most influential attacking players, and any prolonged absence would represent a significant setback for the London club.
The extent of the injury remains unclear, with Arsenal yet to provide an official update on the winger’s condition or a possible recovery timetable.
Arteta will be hoping the problem is not serious as Arsenal continue their pursuit of domestic and European honours this season.
