Chelle, Ndidi to Face Media Ahead of AFCON 2027 Opener

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle and captain Wilfred Ndidi will face the media on Thursday as Nigeria step up preparations for their opening Group game of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Chelle and Ndidi are scheduled to address journalists at the official pre-match press conference at 4:30 p.m. at the media centre of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The press conference is expected to focus on Nigeria’s preparations, the condition of the squad and the team’s expectations ahead of the crucial home fixture.

The Super Eagles will then hold their official training session at 5:00 p.m. in the main bowl of the stadium.

The first 15 minutes of the session will be open to the media in accordance with CAF regulations.

Nigeria will be looking to make a strong start to their AFCON 2027 qualifying campaign when they take on their Group opponent in Uyo.
