Gabriel Jesus undergoes successful surgery

Arsenal football club of England have announced that striker Gabriel Jesus has successfully undergone surgery to his right knee after suffering an injury during the Brazil v Cameroon World Cup group stage match on Friday.
The three-time Premier League champion says the Brazilian will now begin his rehabilitation programme.
Jesus joined Arsenal from Premier League rival, Manchester City last summer and has featured 20 times for the club, scoring five times and bagged seven assists.
The 25 year old’s five goals and five assists in the 14 Premier League games he has played since he joined from Manchester City, winning 12 of the games and lost just once.
The Brazilian’s efforts have propelled the Gunners to the top of the Premier League and will not be part of the push for a first Premier League title in 19 years when the league resumes on Boxing Day after the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup break.
