Iheanacho Rejects Celtic Stay to Join Turkish Club Bursaspor

Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a move to Turkish club Bursaspor after turning down an offer to remain at Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.

According to Sky Sports News, Iheanacho has signed for Bursaspor after his option to extend his Celtic contract expired in June.

The 29-year-old forward joined Celtic last summer on a one-year contract that included an option for a further 12 months.

However, Iheanacho opted against extending his stay with the Scottish champions and has now embarked on a new chapter in Turkey with Bursaspor.

The move brings an end to his time at Celtic after one season and sees the experienced Nigerian striker continue his club career in the Turkish league.
