Tai Sodje Joins Walsall on Two-Year Deal

Walsall have completed the signing of Tai Sodje from National League North side Buxton on a two-year contract.

The 22-year-old forward will continue his career at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium after making the move from the non-league club.

Sodje joined Buxton last summer following a decade-long spell in the Manchester City academy, where he developed through the club’s youth system.

The forward is also part of a notable football family, being the nephew of former Nigeria internationals Efe Sodje and Sam Sodje.

Sodje will now look to establish himself at Walsall as he begins the next chapter of his career in the professional game.
