Lookman becomes third most valuable Super Eagles star after Osimhen and Ndidi

Atalanta forward's market value soars from €20m to career high €30m; Ebuehi also moves to a career high value

Atalanta of Italy forward, Ademola Lookman has been rewarded for his impressive showing in his first season in the serie A.

The 25 year old has been a huge success since he moved permanently from German Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig to Atalanta and has so far scored 14 times in 28 appearances for the club with 12 of the goals coming in 26 Serie A games.

The former Leicester City and Fulham player’s valued has, on account of that, jumped from the €20m he was valued last November to €30m following the latest update released Tuesday by Transfermarkt.

He has now become the third most valuable Nigerian player after Victor Osimhen whose value jumped from €70m to €100m in the latest valuation of the Serie A and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi whose value has dropped to €32m.

The Nigrerian’s value has been on the upward swing since it reached a career high of €20m in June 2019 while playing for Everton.

It dropped €9m in December 2019 after joining Leicester City on loan from Leipzig.

It started rising thereon, from €10m in June 2022 to €20m last December following his summer switch to Atalanta and now a career high €30m.

Also on the upward swing in value is Nigeria defender, Tyrone Ebuehi whose value jumped to €1.4m in November last year to a career high €2m this month.
