Luton Vs Arsenal: Bukayo Saka set to make 200th appearance for Gunners

Bukayo Saka could make his 200th appearance for Arsenal in all competitions, becoming in the process the second youngest English player to ever reach that

milestone, after Cliff Bastin.
Saka made his senior Arsenal debut in November 2018 in the Gunners’ 3-2 Europa League win away at Ukrainian side, Vorskla Poltava with the Nigeria-born

forward featuring for 22 minutes.
He made his Premier League debut on New Year’s day in 2019, featuring for the last seven minutes of the Gunners’ 4-1 annihilation of Fulaham at the Emirates

stadium.
He scored his first goal involvement in the Premier League in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United. He provided Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the assist on 58

minutes to draw Arsenal level after Scott McTominay had given the host the lead on the stroke of half time at Old Trafford in September 2019.
Saka however scored his first Premier League goal in July 2020 when he scored the opening goal in Arsenal’s 20 defeat of Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.
He has made 148 appearances in the Premier League, winning 82 times. He has scored 36 times and provided 31 assists.

The England international has scored three times in five Champions League matches, five goals in 25 Europa League games and one goal each in 10 FA Cup and
nine EFL cup games.

Arsenal gaffer, Mikel Arteta says Saka has shown the consistency that has earned him almost an undroppable status.

Arteta said: ‘That’s not bad at his age! It’s gone really fast but it shows again the consistency and the availability that he has had over the last few
years. It has been tremendous and the impact that he’s had in the team has been really positive.’

The British-Nigerian’s 83 consecutive Premier League appearances for Arsenal is a new club record, beating the record of 82 previously held by Paul Merson.
Saka will be looking to make his 11th goal involvement this season when Arsenal face Luton Tuesday night at Kenilworth Road. He is Arsenal’s joint top scorer

with Eddie Nketiah in the Premier League so far this season with five goals while his goal assist of five is the most by any Arsenal player this season.
