Man City Vs Chelsea Headlines FA Cup Third Round Ties After Draw

Oxford United to play Arsenal, Alex Iwobi's Everton visit Man United

Manchester City will host eight-time winners, Chelsea in the headline fixture of the third round of the FA Cup after the draw was made on Monday.

The two sides have met once this term in the EFL ( Carabao Cup) with the Cityzens knocking out Graham Potter’s side 2-0 at the Etihad.

The game will hold between January 6 and 9, a few days after the two teams meet in their first Premier League fixture of the 2022/23 season with Chelsea hosting Pep Guardiola’s side on Thursday January 5, 2023.

The Man City vs Chelsea FA Cup fixture won’t be the only all-Premier League match-up as half of the clubs in the English topflight league have been drawn to face each other.

Holders Liverpool will host Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Manchester United are at home to Alex Iwobi’s Everton in two more of five all-Premier League ties.

The other two are Southampton’s trip to Crystal Palace and a London derby as Brentford entertain West Ham United.

Premier League leaders Arsenal, who have a record 14 FA Cup triumphs, travel to Oxford United, who are 13th in League One.
