Napoli instruct Osimhen’s agent to broker Nigerian’s exit from Serie A club
Sport Mediaset is reporting that Napoli have told Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda to negotiate the Nigeria international’s switch to Paris Saint-Germain, as per Sport Mediaset.
According to the media outlet, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has dispatched Calenda to Paris to negotiate a deal with PSG after the Nigerian failed to receive a concrete offer from the Premier League, his preferred choice.
Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Napoli since the end of the 2022/23 season when he netted 26 goals in 32 Serie A appearances to inspire the Parnetopei to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
The Nigerian extended his stay at the club thereafter with a release clause of €130m, an amount that has scared away many of the big clubs in Europe.
PSG looks to be the real choice for the Nigerian if he still wants to remain in Europe as the Lille 1 club are desperate to replace Kylian Mbappe who was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday in Madrid.
