Onojuvwevwo finally set to make LSU debut, listed to run in the 200m

Ofili to run in the 4x400m, Oghenebrume eyes new PB in 60m again

Ella Onojuvwevwo will be among 13 Louisiana State University, LSU student athletes who will be making their indoor debut this season at the Texas Tech University ‘s Red Raider Open at Lubbock, Texas Friday.

Onojuvwevwo will be competing in the 200m event.

The 17 year old Nigerian joined LSU on scholarship in the last quarter of last year and the former World U20 4x400m and 4x400m mixed relay gold medal winner will be making her debut for her school at the meet.

Also running in the half lap race is Rosemary Chukwuma of Texas Tech University.

Chukwuma stormed to a 7.11 personal best in the 60m event last weekend and all eyes will be on the 21 year old to race to another personal in the 200m.

Meanwhile, LSU’s Favour Ofili will be competing only in the women’s 4x400m relay for her school at the meet.

For the men, Godson Oghenebrume will seeking to improve on the 6.74 personal best he ran last weekend as he will be competing again in the 60m event.
