Onuachu Eyes More Goals Against Konyaspor

Paul Onuachu will be looking to continue his impressive scoring record against Konyaspor when Trabzonspor face their Turkish Super Lig rivals.

The Nigeria international ended a 155-day goal drought last weekend, scoring twice in Trabzonspor’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Gençlerbirliği in the fourth week of the Trendyol Super Lig.

Despite finishing last season as the league’s top scorer with 22 goals, Onuachu had struggled to find the net before his brace against Gençlerbirliği.

However, Konyaspor have traditionally been one of his favourite opponents.

The 32-year-old has scored six goals in four official appearances against Konyaspor, giving him an impressive average of 1.5 goals per game against them.

Onuachu will therefore be hoping his return to scoring form continues when Trabzonspor take on Konyaspor, as he looks to add to his tally against a side he has consistently troubled in front of goal.
