Osimhen Gives Green Light to Tottenham as Spurs Launch Transfer Bid

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen after making an opening bid for the Galatasaray striker, who is said to be open to a move to North London.
According to reports, Spurs have submitted an initial offer worth between £50 million and £55 million for the 27-year-old, while Turkish champions Galatasaray S.K. are believed to value the Super Eagles forward at around £65 million.
Osimhen has long been linked with a switch to the Premier League and is reportedly willing to join Tottenham, with personal terms not expected to present any major obstacle should negotiations between the two clubs progress.
Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi is keen to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season, particularly with uncertainty surrounding the future of Brazilian striker Richarlison.
Osimhen enjoyed another prolific campaign for Galatasaray during the 2025/26 season, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
His impressive form has also attracted interest from several top European clubs, but Tottenham are now reported to have made the first concrete move as they look to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes.
