Victor Osimhen has written his name into Galatasaray’s history books after becoming the Turkish champions’ highest-scoring foreign player in European club competitions with 14 goals.
The Nigerian international scored his first UEFA Champions League goal of the 2026/27 season in his second appearance, taking his tally in the competition for Galatasaray to eight goals in 12 matches.
The latest strike also increased his overall European scoring record for the Istanbul giants to 14 goals in 19 appearances, having previously scored six times in seven UEFA Europa League outings.
Osimhen’s achievement underlines his remarkable impact since joining Galatasaray, with the Super Eagles striker averaging nearly three goals every four matches in European competitions for the Turkish club.
The 27-year-old has also taken his career Champions League tally to 17 goals in 29 appearances across three clubs, having previously featured in the competition for Lille and Napoli before moving to Galatasaray.
His latest milestone comes as Galatasaray continue their European campaign with an impressive historical record against French opposition.
