Osimhen Misses Galatasaray Squad For Trabzonspor Clash

Victor Osimhen has been left out of Galatasaray’s squad for Saturday’s Turkish Super League clash away to Trabzonspor.

Galatasaray announced their travelling squad on Friday ahead of the match, with Osimhen among four players omitted from the group.

The Nigeria international is still undergoing treatment for an injury and will not feature in the Week 6 encounter.

Midfielder Mario Lemina and defender Wilfried Singo, who are also receiving treatment, were likewise left out, while Kaan Ayhan was omitted after experiencing pain in his Achilles tendon during the team’s final training session.

Osimhen has made an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, scoring six goals and providing two assists in four appearances for the Turkish champions.

His absence will be a blow to Galatasaray as they travel to face Trabzonspor in a match scheduled for Saturday.

The club will hope the 27-year-old can recover fully before their next fixture as they continue their domestic and European campaign.
