PSG to offer Icardi, Paredes and cash for Osimhen
Paris Saint-Germain are desperate to make Victor Osimhen return to the French Ligue 1 three years after the Nigerian switched Lille for Napoli in the Serie A.
The underachieving club have reportedly made the 24 year old Nigerian their number one target for this summer and hope to lower the price-tag by giving Napoli Mauro Icardi and Leandro Paredes, according to RMC Sport in France.
Osimhen has been linked with top Premier League sides such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle and the Nigerian has revealed his preference for the Premier League.
Friday’s report by RMC confirms that Osimhen would prefer going to England, but is open for a return to Ligue 1 with Champions League chasing PSG.
It would also be a reunion with former LOSC director Luis Campos, the man who discovered Osimhen and sold him to Napoli for €75m plus bonuses in September 2020.
Napoli want over a €100m for Osimhen and RMC PSG are hoping to lower that figure by offering players in exchange.
They include former Inter striker Icardi and midfielder Paredes, who is currently on loan at Juventus, a deal that will not be made permanent.
