Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze’s market value has risen by €5m to €25m to become the joint fourth most valuable Nigerian after Victor Osimhen

In the latest update by transfermarkt, the 24 year old is now joint most valuable Nigerian with Alex Iwobi whose value rose to €25m last November.

This is the first time Chukwueze’s value has risen since he dropped from €25m in October 2020 to €20m in January 2021.

Four subsequent updates in June 2021, December 2021, June 2022 and November 2022 saw the Nigerian’s value stuck at €20m before the latest update.

His 13 goals remains the highest he has scored in a single campaign in France, same as his 11 assists while his 50 appearances remain the most he has made in
a single season.

The former Golden Eaglets star is on international duty with Nigeria in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Sierra Leone in Monrovia.
