Unity Cup Returns to The Valley With SMADE

Excitement is building ahead of the Unity Cup 2026, with organisers announcing SMADE Entertainment Group as the official entertainment partner for the tournament scheduled from 26-30 May at The Valley, London.
Founded by British-Nigerian entrepreneur Dr. Adesegun Adeosun Jr., SMADE Entertainment has built a reputation as a global cultural powerhouse, co-founding Afro Nation and delivering world-class music experiences that unite diaspora communities.
Adeosun described the partnership as ‘the perfect stage for what comes next… Four nations. Four cultures. One unstoppable voice. This is football. This is culture. This is us.’
The tournament will feature four nations: Nigeria, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, and India, competing in semi-finals and a grand final:
Semi-Final 1 (26 May): Nigeria vs Zimbabwe: The Rematch
Semi-Final 2 (27 May): Jamaica vs India: The Culture Clash
Final and Third Place Play-Off (30 May)
All matches kick off at 7:30pm, with the third-place play-off on Finals Day starting at 2:30pm.
Returning to its historic home at Charlton Athletic FC’s The Valley for the first time since 2004, the Unity Cup blends elite football with cultural celebration.
This year marks Zimbabwe’s first competitive football match in the UK. Between games, SMADE will curate cultural showcases representing each nation, while Finals Day will expand into a full-scale festival with global food experiences.
A spokesperson for the Unity Cup highlighted the synergy: ‘Unity Cup and SMADE are a natural fit because we share the same DNA. Sport and culture are most powerful when they’re together.’
