Aris Agree £425,000 Deal to Sign Tom Dele-Bashiru from Watford

Greek Super League club Aris are closing in on the signing of Nigeria international midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru after agreeing a £425,000 transfer fee with Watford.

The 26-year-old is expected to travel to Greece on Monday to undergo a medical before completing the move.

Dele-Bashiru has already agreed personal terms in principle and is set to sign a three-year contract once the transfer is finalised.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Turkish side Gençlerbirliği, making 28 league appearances during the campaign.

Dele-Bashiru joined Watford from Manchester City in 2019 and has since made 71 Championship appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

At international level, he represented Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup after previously featuring for England at youth level.
