Arsenal Vs Luton: Jesus set to make Premier League history

Gabriel Jesus could become the first player in Premier League history to score goals on his birthday for two different clubs.

The Brazilian is expected to feature for the Gunners Wednesday evening when they host Luton Town and he will be aiming to score on his birthday for the second time in the Premier League.

The 27 year old first scored on his birthday exactly three years ago today when he netted in Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat of Leicester City at the King Power stadium on April 3rd, 2021.

He had two years earlier provided an assist when the Cityzens defeated Cardiff City 2-0 at the Etihad stadium.

The Arsenal forward will be hoping to make history Wednesday night at the Emirates when the Gunners host Luton Town.

Jesus scored and provided an assist in his first game against Luton in the Premier League last December at the Kenilworth Road where the Gunners ran away with a 43 win courtesy of a Declan Rice winner in the 97th minute.

Mikel Arteta’s side are unbeaten in their last 38 Premier League home games against promoted teams (W33 D5), winning each of the last nine.
