‘No Defender Can Stop Onuachu’: Ex-Beşiktaş Star Kahveci Praises Eagles Striker

Former Beşiktaş striker Nihat Kahveci has hailed Paul Onuachu’s aerial dominance, insisting that no defender in world football can stop the Super Eagles forward when he rises for a header.

Onuachu was on target again on Saturday, scoring Trabzonspor’s second goal in their 3-2 home defeat to Fenerbahçe at Papara Park in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigerian international connected perfectly with a Mathias Fjørtoft Løvik cross to power home his fifth headed goal of the season.

Speaking on the Kontraspor YouTube channel, Kahveci emphasised that Onuachu’s aerial ability is unmatched.

‘From that cross that was delivered, I don’t see any centre-back profile capable of stopping Onuachu. Maybe there isn’t one in the world,’ he said, as reported by T24.

The 31-year-old striker has now scored 16 goals and registered one assist in 19 league matches this season, further underlining his importance to Trabzonspor’s attack.
