Onyedika Suffers Transfermarkt Value Drop

Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has suffered a €2 million drop in his market value in Transfermarkt’s latest update.

Onyedika’s value has fallen from €19 million to €17 million, despite remaining one of Nigeria’s most valuable players in the Bundesliga.

The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder is currently ranked 779th worldwide, 96th among Bundesliga players, sixth at Frankfurt and 10th among Nigerian players, according to Transfermarkt.

Onyedika, 25, joined Frankfurt from Club Brugge and has established himself as an important midfielder at the German club.

His €17 million valuation places him behind only a handful of Nigerian players in Transfermarkt’s latest market-value assessment.

Nathan Tella is another Nigerian whose position has also been tracked in the latest update. The Bayer Leverkusen winger is valued at €15 million and ranks 844th worldwide, 104th in the Bundesliga, 17th at Leverkusen, 12th among Nigerian players and 71st among right wingers.

Other Nigerian players listed in the Bundesliga include Victor Boniface (€5m), Terem Moffi (€5m), Uchenna Ogundu (€4m), Jordan Torunarigha (€4m) and Felix Agu (€3.5m).
